Station Hotel to Reopen Banner

After months of closure iconic Footscray establishment The Station Hotel will reopen the doors on Friday 5 August.

A fire broke out in the kitchen of The Station on the morning of Monday April 4 and since then the team has been focussed on getting back to doing what it believes it does best; serving the best steak in the West.

Station aficionados will be pleased that the menu hasn’t changed and is still full of notable, hearty dishes created with outstanding produce from all over Australia and New Zealand.

Renowned for its steak, the menu showcases an ample selection of grain and grass-fed steaks from the finest beef regions in Australia. Ranging from a 300g Great Southern Pinnacle porterhouse to a 200g Sher Wagyu, 450 day MS 9+ Wagyu x Holstein eye fillet, each cut is expertly cooked with care and precision.

The Station is a favourite amongst local residents as well as diners from all over Melbourne and regional Victoria who travel to enjoy all the Station Hotel has to offer. Therefore, the refurbishment has been kept true to the good old heart of the pub and guests will feel at home when the doors reopen with great food accompanied by an expertly curated wine and craft beer list in a relaxed, informal pub environment.
