House of Crabs "Endless Bags" Event Banner

Sydney seafood institution, House of Crabs, threw their annual Endless Bags bash; an occasion that sees patrons slap on a pair of gloves, a bib and dive into a bottomless bag of all you can eat seafood for two solid hours.

On Thursday 14 April, guests were treated to an endless finger lickin’ selection of The Boil including South Australian mussels, whole Queensland prawns and Blue Swimmer crabs…with cheesy garlic bread on the side to help mop up the sauce!

At the start of the event, each table was given a red and a white flag with simple instructions – raise the red flag if you’re still hungry and need more bags, raise the white flag if you admit defeat.

The seafood extravaganza coincided with the launch of House of Crabs new menu, which features some new mouthwatering southern-style fare. Snack on jalapeño hushpuppies with Creole mayo, Cajun cured watermelon or a clam chowder jaffle with New England sauce. Super hungry? Try the southern fried pork chop with red eye gravy and succotash or the shaved fish and chips with ‘Gates of Hell’ hot sauce, brown bread and lemon ranch sauce.

The new dishes which have a nod to classic Louisiana flavours are sure to warm diners up as Australia heads into the colder months.
